My board reads C Y GC GH R W I have two wires with a Red and White I have one from the thermostat Red, White, Green, and Blue The AC doesn't work nor does the Heater. I think the wiring are wrong. I'm trying to save some money. Can somebody tell me how the wires are supposed to go?

:confused: I'm installing a new dishwasher. It is on a 20amp breaker. The wire from the dishwasher won'r reach the junction box. The dishwasher is wired for a 120V for a 15 amp circuit. Can I SAFELY use about 8 feet of 12 gauge wire to run from the junction box to the dishwasher? Thanks
