    Will not start
    Homelite ST 275/ Zama C1U H31C 68. It starts for about 3 seconds but will not run. Gas runs out carb. New diaphragms &gaskets. I tried to clean all orifices the best that I could.Adjustment limiters how do you adjust?

    Sounds like you need to adjust the metering valve under the diaphragm.
    Make sure diaphragm is on top of gasket.

    I agree with DG. Sounds as if the lever on the inlet needle is not adjusted right. Can be done with the Zama "Zoomi' Z" gauge or a mechanics/machinists ruler. See attached from the Zama service guide.
