    Why won't my John Deere L120 engage forward?
    We have a John Deere L120 Lawnmower that runs great but won't move forward or backward. All belts intact. Neighbor says it takes "a rear" and that John Deere is know for that problem with this model. What did he mean by "rear"?

    It is most likely the silver release in the back of the mower otherwise you may want to take it in.
