I have a 14hp briggs on a 2004 toro 1438z ztr mower. It has a nikki carb which I rebuilt 2 days ago. When I start it it runs OK at high idle though it misses some, but when I idle it all the way down it lopes badly and occasioaly backfires. Is this a fuel solenoid problem or what??

I have a 1989 chevy blazer with a 5.7 liter. I have changed temp sensor and throttle position sensor, but still have high idle. Wondering what else to check to remedy problem?

I have a 94 Grand Am 3.1 liter engine that while in park idles at about 2500 RPM and when you put it in gear may go down to about 1500RPM. After warming up a bit it might drop to about 2000 RPM. Didn't see any obvious problems.

I have a 1997 Honda Passport 3.2 engine that idles high around 1500 ot 2000 rpm while driving and the truck has been driven for 1/2 hour. If I turn it off and let it sit for about 5 minutes, it disappears until I drive it for a while again... any ideas? Thanks Ninpo23

91 Honda Civic, 1.5l, remains at high idle, 1000-1500 until manually turning off by depressing pedal. Once engine rev'ed over about 1500 does it again. Will not return to low idle on it's own. Does not surge like vac hose off. No engine code. If I disconnect the temp sensor at bottom of radiator...
