I have a craftsman riding mower 26 hp b&s with a 48" deck. It's been running fine till yesterday went to mower and as soon as I turn on the mower deck it shuts off. It starts right back up when I try it again off it goes. It seems like it has something to do with the clutch am I right? Thanks ...

I used an ohmeter to check start button, thermal fuse, timer, thermostats and they all check out OK. I'm afraid it's the motor and don't know how to get to it to test with ohmeter.

HI I have a cub cadet gt2544 ride on lawn mower the mower goes well but when it comes to turning it off it starts to make a really loud banging sound and not just once like 5 times and I kind of get the feeling that its going to blow or something. Please help

I have a craftsman dyt 4000 lawn mower. I was mowing and the blades quit turning. So I turned the motor off to check the belts and now it won't start, not even a click when key is turned on.
