    Weedeater fuel mixture
Hello all... the Weedeater Feathelite Plus requires a 40:1 fuel mixture. I made the mixture using careful measuriing. But the performance has deteriorated. Here is the question:

Is there a tool in the market that could be use to determine if the mixture is correct? I hate to throw away a gallon of mixture if I can determine that the problem could be solved byjust adding a little more oil or a little more gas Does anyone know how to "guess" which of the ingredients needs to be added? I was told that if it smokes too much or if it fouls up the plug, it has too much oil. The plug is absolutely clean in my case...

    Any help will be appreciated.

I got so tired of mixing, I bought an electric grass trimmer with a battery pak. I love it, now all I have to do is charge it. Why worry about this stuff. Gardening should be fun.
