Weedeater cuts off when I squeeze trigger
I have a weedeater featherlite gas trimmer that starts easy and idles well until I squeeze the throttle. It cuts right off!! I have drained the gas/oil mixture and replaced with new. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Hi,
You neglected to say the model, but it is probably fuel delivery. The peculiar thing about many WeedEater brand machines is the use of a Walbro carb with a dutch twill inlet screen. I have fixed many of that brand with nothing but a couple of minutes and a new stock screen. Not to say it is not a "stiff" metering diaphragm, another common culprit.
    Peace,
    Clarke
