    Weed eater fuel line replacement
I have purchased some bulk fuel line to replace the fuel line on an older model craftman weedeater. But I found tha the line was just pushed through the bottom of the fuel tank, and was tight enough to no leak. There was no fitting or external or internal connector to connect the line itself to. I have been unable to re thread the fuel line back through the tank. Is there some tool or accepted process to do this?

Cut a piece of fuel line slightly longer than you need. Make a slanted cut on one end. Thread a piece of mechanics wire through the tubing with a small nail or pin twisted into one end. The pointed end of the line should be on the free end of the wire. Thread the wire through the fuel tank hole and pull with pliers until you have sufficient line outside the tank. Trim ends square and install any other parts such as fuel filter.

    Just replaced mine last week.
