    Toro self-propelled not working
My Toro lawn mower, model 20464, does not propel itself as it used to. The wheels spin when I lift it off the ground but there is not enough 'torque' to move through the lawn.

I pulled the gear cover off and all the gears have good teeth. I have replaced the drive belt, the rocker keys and the spur gears; but have seen no change in operation.

What else do you look for?

You need a new belt. Or something is missing like a spring.

Thanks for the response. The belt was the first thing I changed, what I found was that the cable seems to have stretched. When I pull a little bit on the cable with the handle in "drive", the wheels have the torque to pull it through the lawn.
