Spark when connecting positive battery post
I just replaced the solenoid on my LT12 Snapper rider and noticed a small spark when I connect the positive post to the battery. Is this normal? The wire hook ups are correct.

There should be no draw on the battery when everything is off. With the cable disconnected attach a continuity tester to the cable and then the engine block. There should be no continuity and if there is you have a short.
