John Deere 112L dies when blade is lowered
Just bought an old 112L - If I prime the carb and jump the battery the engine will start and run. It seems I can drive it around without issue but when I engage the PTO and lower the blade it dies and drains battery. If I raise the blade before it dies it seems to pick up power and cont. running even though the PTO is still engaged. I verified the blades turn easily and bearings are not locked. Dealer told me to change the Voltage reguator which was no help. Verified battery and seat switch is good. Can't find a svc manual so I am looking for insight from anybody that might have experienced the same issues.
