    Briggs & Stratton L-Head 222400 engines
I am having trouble starting my snowblower, equipped with a Briggs & Stratton L-Head engine.

It kicks back viciously, and has broken two pull cords this fall, in trying to get it ready for the winter season.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

It has a partially sheared key for the flywheel. Aboule the only thing that would do it other than a missing or dheared key on the other end.
    Peace,
