    Weedeater Barracuda/sv22
    The weedeater won't run unless you keep the choke on.I checked the fuel line and replaced it,cleaned muffler,plug. Anybody got an idea what's wrong?

    Hi,
    Remove the carb and replace the inlet screen. That model had a dutch twill screen that would clog at a blink. Walbro carb required to be correct though I have seen nothing else on that model. Side with the single screw in the center is the pump.

    Clarke I took the screen off and sure enough it was pluged up.It runs like a top now.I want to thank you for your help. Thanks again Doug

    I am having the same problem. Cleaned fuel tank, and the pick up filter in the tank,Removed the carp and did not see any screen. New plug and gas. The Ser.# of my unit is 95248N-1. Where is this screen?
