Power washer motor won't turn on
I have a task master power washer residential 1550 psi model TM1550. This morning I put it together. Plug it in, the motor went on as usual then it quit working. I reset it still nothing. I plugged into a different outlet, and turned it on still won't go on. It always goes on a few seconds when I turn it on but it doesn't now. There is a red light indicator on the plug in so I know that it is working. I have reset it several times still nothing. Help!

So you have the water on, plugged in and you pull the trigger. Water only runs for a while and then the water stops? Or does the motor stop when you let the trigger up? There iis an override pressure switch to keep you from bursting the motor. I have seen mud wasps build nests in the hoses and the mud won't allow the water out. If everything is fully open and the GF trips, you could have a short in the motor. That's one reason they started putting GF's on the plug end. Task Force-Lowes I believe- are not particularly noted for durability.
