    I can't find the fuse or the solenoid on this mower battery is good, put new starter in, no clicking nothing?

    Hi,
    Try removing the shift-direction cover in front of the seat (F-N-R) by removing the knob and two screws. Usually both are mounted toward the left side.

I have a MTD 17.5 HP riding mower. When I start the engine it sound like there is a large amount of gas going to the engine thena small amount. I removed the air filter and gas filled the area where the air filter set. I figure my problem is in the carb. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I can not get my started. I have replaced the battery, fuel filter, and spark plug. I have spark, there is gas getting into the head, it turns over great but will not fire. There is power going to the bowl on the carb.
