I have a Troy Bilt push mower that will not start. Gas is good. Spark is good. When pulling on the rope, I'll get it to pop a little, but that's it. :)

My craftsman 18hp rider-model # 917-273402 seems to be stuck in gear, therefore it won't start. The linkage is OK, the dead mans switch seems to be OK, and I cleaned up a small build-up of grass. Any other things to check. The clutch/brake pedal also seems OK. Thanks, Craig
