    mower belts
    I need a belt diagram for a john deere lawn mower it is a 165 hydro the model no is moo165x364717 the diagram I need is for the mower not the machine itself but the part that cuts the grass if you had a diagram for that . That would good lawn needs to be cut thank you

    Hi,
    There are two decks possible on that machine, but belt routing is not what changes. The tensioner for the primary belt (the one from engine to deck) is thea piece near the chute with the spring attached. Spin it around to take off tension, remove the cover on the left side and you are ready to go. Belts can be put on with mower still under machine.
