    Log splitter cord not retracting
    How do I get a new cord to retract on my 10 hp Briggs and Stratton log plitter?

    Pull off the blower housing cover and verify the engine isn't seized.

    In all likelyness the clutch (Just under the blower housing) is dirty. It can be replaced for about $5 or taken apart and cleaned. No grease. There are about 5 balls that you can't loose.
