    L130 john deer not firing
Ran out of gas. Filled back up. Ran a couple of minutes, then backfired. Blew out fuel line. Changed filter. Changed plugs. Sprayed carb with cleaner and blew out carb. Tapped on bowl. Sprayed ether in carb and at spark plug. Turns over but will not fire. Had seat kill switch checked. Any ideas before I spend 75.00/hr?

    HI,
Did you gap the plugs? They do not come at 0.030" normally. Also, I would try isolating the engine, i.e. unplugging the ignition ground wire at the engine. It will be at a post just rear of the right hand cylinder just below the bottom of the blower housing. Should have a spade plug on the wire(white) that can be unplugged. This will isolate the engine from the frame so that you tell if it is an engine problem or a frame problem.
    Peace,
    Clarke
