John deere lawn tractor won't start
Having problems with my JD GT235 lawn tractor starting, if it does start the when it gets warm it dies. I changed the fuel filter, what can I check next. I did check the fuses and they all appear to be in working order. What next?

These kinds of problems are thermal. You probably loose spark. That you should check. That primarily leaves the spark plug (intermittant), the coil or ignition module if so equipped.

    Hi,
The GT235 had two engines. Do have the Vanguard or the Kawasaki.

I had to replace the belts in my tractor, and hence had to remove the clutch etc. to do so. Now that I have it back together, the clutch does not disengage the belts and stop the tractor correctly.
