JD 130 runs but does not engage
JD130 starts and runs, but when I try to engage the mover deck nothing happens. I try going forward and engage it and deck doesn't engage. I try going in reverse and pop the PTO and it dies. I replaced the electromagnetic clutch and the wiring harness to the clutch, seat, and still nothing. Any thoughts?

    Hi,
Is this a 130 with a 30" deck or an L130 with a 48" deck? If it is an L130, it cuts off because of the RIO and there is a yellow button that has to be held down when reversing.
Check the harness on the right rear side and the wires at the plug at the clutch on the L130.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Its an L130... I changed out the wiring harness to a brand new one and everything is plugged in correctly. The mower deck won't engage at all when going forward either.

    Hi,
Check the wires at the plug attached to the clutch, a common point of failure.

Turn key on do not start , sit on sit ,pull up on pto switch ,if you hear a click then the switch is working , check for proper belt tension , if no click then as Clarke said check wiring .Luck
