Install rebuild (carb) kit in craftsman garden tractor
No instructions arrived with rebuild kit for Craftsman garden tractor, model No. 917.275970. Are do-it-yourself instructions available and how do I locate them?

A diagram of your carb should be here: Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears PartsDirect | SearsPartsDirect.com . Sometimes you need to look up the engine number and then the carb.

It's a case of taking the carb apart and cleaning everything and putting it back together the same way.

Lubercate the O rings with a little oil or silicone grease or grease designed for that purpose.

If there are two, then there is one for high and low speed.

Adjust both in their respective speed range for smooth running.
