How to keep a snow thrower's augers from clogging up
The augers of my Troybilt storm 2620 clogs up. No shear pins are missing and the belts are fine. The snow was of the perfect snowball variety, not real heavy, but heavy enough.

If you use the cooking oil spray just be sure not to spray it on too heavy. I've read where this actually works with snowblowers.

    Hi,
I agree and it works on mowers, too. Especially on the chute to baggers.
Stens makes a product called Mo-Deck that is advertised for both uses. Without having smelled it, I could not tell you if it is re-labelled cooking oil or silicone spray.
    Peace,
    Clarke
