How do you get a toro groundsmaster mulching deck to work better?
My toro groundsmaster 72" mulching deck always bogs down in grass over 4" tall. Someone said there is a way to modify the deck so it will cut better. I would be interested even if it doesn't mulch as well. Any ideas?

ANY mulching mower is going to bog down in tall grass. THey are intended to be used before the grass has grown tall enough to hide small pets in. (thats not literal, just making a point)

Toro mower deck cleaning [ 3 Answers ]

What is the best way to keep the grass from sticking to the mower deck? I have heard of ceramic coatings that can be sprayed on and another product that you mix with water to spray the deck. The mower has a deck wash but that really uses a lot of water and we are on a well with limited water...
