I have a 2011 snapper 2811523Bv rear engine rider. When turned upright, the differential has a top and bottom fill/level plugs. What is the proper way to add/check grease level. I pulled the top plug and added grease till I could feel it just below the bottom of the opening. I have not run mower, and am concerned I might have overfilled gear case.If so, what problem would this cause? How should I remedy it. I used over half a bottle of grease on a mower only 14 months old, with mild usage, just doesn't seem right. Any help with proper procedure.

    Optional Information:
    Make: Snapper
    Model: 7800647
What have you tried so far?: Put mower upright, filled TOP fill/add hole on differential. Not sure this was correct as there is a TOP and BOTTOM fill/add hole.

    Hi,
You have done it correctly; the top is the fill location and the bottom is the fill level indicator. You did use Type 00 greas as prescribed, did you not?
    Peace,
