    Engaging clutch causes Craftsman LT1000 to stop running?
    I have a Craftsman LT1000 with 42 inch deck that starts fine, but shuts down when I release clutch or attempt to put in gear or engage deck.

    Hi,
    Something is up with your seat switch; it does not recognize an occupant.
