I have a Craftsman weed-eater. It starts fine and idles OK but when you pull the trigger for full speed it stops running. Please help.

    Hi,
Saying you have a Craftsman tells little since multiple companies have made them. My guess is you have a Poulan/WeedEater with a clogged dutch twill inlet screen (that is the screen in the carb behind the pump cover - the cover with the one screw in the center.)
With Craftsman model numbers are always helpful, especially with hand-held equipment.
    Peace,

    Hi,
Your manual is available through Welcome - Managemyhome.com but is too large for my to attach here.
I have attached a picture of a Walbro carb. It is editted for size, but #5 on the drawing is the inlet screen. If you are capable and want it I can look up the part number in many brands
    Peace,
