Craftsman lawn tractor blades not engaging
My lawn tractor blades do not engage when I lift the attachment clutch lever. I replaced the belt but that did not fix the problem. Anyone else had (and resloved) this problem?

    Hi,
On a Craftsman to place to look is the pivot of the idler that moves to tension the belt. Remove the bolt and clean the bushing that serves as the pivot. This will solve the problem. It is common on this brand.
    Peace,

Thanks crigby. It required a lot more removal than one bolt, a lot of elbow grease, and a good wire brush but it did work. Thanks.
