    Craftsman Lawn Tractor, 2 blades don't turn
    I have a Craftsmand Lawn Tractor 18.5 HP, two of the blades don't turn. When manually turned all three blades turn, could it be the drive belt? Only one blade turns when engaged.

    Yes Check The Belt And Also See If There Is A Spring Missing From The Engagement Pulley Arm On The Deck.

How much trouble is it to change the drive belt on a 15.5hp Sears Lawn Tractor? Seems like the speed of this lawn tractor has slowed down. I am assuming that the drive belt could possibly be stretched. Any onther ideas?

The blades on my Craftsman Lawn tractor 917.270860 won't disengage. I looked at my buddies craftsman and it appears that the clutch cable is not moving the pulley to disengage the blade belt, I guess it is frozen. How do I remedy this? Pete
