    Can I chanhe the head of a strimmer from line to blade?
    I just want to know if its possible to change the head of strimmer; for example if I am buying a line strimmer/brushcutter, can I change the head and put a blade if I need?
    I am mainly interested in Sthil and Husqvarna strimmers/brushcutters.

    Hi,
    A machine that will handle a blade will be described as "blade-capable" or will have blades listed as accessories in a chart.
    Generally the machine will be a straight shaft machine, though Stihl does have some curved shaft machines that will accept a PolyCut head. Understand that a saw blade will not be listed except for machines with bicycle-style handlebars. It is a liability issue.
    A blade capable machine usually will come with the mounting hardware to install a blade Stihl does last I saw.)
