    Blade deck will not come on
    Last year at the end of the season my blades stopped turning out of the blue? Any ideas?

    Yes. All belts look fine. When I pull the switch to engage the deck I get nothing. I was not sure if the PTO switch went bad or if there is a cable for the switch that might have broke.

    Since these are not all the same... or work the same... what exactly do you have... as in make and model.

    Hi,
    The switch going could be the issue, but some of those models were notorious for breaking a wire going to the electric PTO clutch just inside the right frame rail. Check your wire for health, and understand that the mechanics common trick is to turn on the switch without the engine running and engage the switch. It should clunk.
