    Battery problems?

I am having problems with my Sears tractor starting. Battery is low. How do I determine the age of my Husky battery? Here is the info on my battery: Husky GT-X, SK# 04-70899, 300 CCA @ 0 F. I assume the CCA @ 0 F is cold cranking ampsat 0 deg F? I do not know what the rest is? Could the 04 stand for the year 2004?

    Hi,
Sight unseen the 04 could easily mean that. Most but not all have a separate sticker that has a letter of the alphabet and a number. The letter is a month code (A = January, I not used) and the number is the last digit ot the year. Average battery life is four years - lots of people get less and one person I know got 14.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Okay I just bought a new Sony Cyber-shot on Friday and I tested it last night, it worked fine. But this morning it was out of battery so I bought new ones and in about 5 minutes said 'Low Battery'. Any comments or opinions on why it runs out so quickly?
