15.5 briggs and stratton excessive compression
I have a briggs and stratton model 282H07-0231-E1...
The valves are adjusted perfectly at .004"
The starter is new as well as the battery and I've even tried to jump direct from battery to starter...
The starter turns with plug out. But when plug is in the compression is too strong to turn.
I have read forum posts that talk about a compression release butno one ever explains the location of the compression release or what it looks like. Is there anyone that has seen the compression release for this model. How about a detailed diagram of the compression release and its location. Is there somewhere to get a free download of a service manual for this motor? Any thoughts?
