So I really like my neighbor. When I first moved in I didn't notice her but it was winter and I wasn't outside much. Now that it's getting warmer out I've been out a lot more and noticed her. She is really pretty. To be honest that was one of the things that first brought her to my attention. That and it seemed like she was trying really hard to get my attention. She would stare when I was out. When I would go outside she would come out. She would open her door and yell "hey" and smile and then shut the door after I looked over there. She would go out of her way to make eye contact or to get my attention by doing a bunch of other things. So one night I was outside and so was she and she was starring over so I decide to go say hi. We talked for a while. Not about anything really so personal mostly about school and a little about family. She said she wanted 2 kids but I told her I didn't really want kids although I have come to the conclusion that even though I say that I really do. Anyway after that night she hasn't talked to me and was ignoring me for like 2 weeks. Oh sorry I should mention that she is bisexual and so am I. I only say that because I am female. Well I over heard her that night arguing with her girlfriend that I wasn't aware of until then. So in the last few days though she's been acting like she was before. She is still with her girlfriend though but she's starring and going outside when I do and making eye contact . She'll be loud until I look over at her. There is one other thing. I'm not sure how old she is. I went to school with her sister but I am homeschooled now. I am 17 and I think she's 15 but she may be 14. I get along with her mom and her younger sister. I never really talked to her older sister but she always seemed pretty nice although I don't get along with her friends. So why do you think that she stopped talking for a few weeks and now seems interested?

Maybe she has other things going on in her life that are more important than getting involved with a neighbor.

Strangers of any age, or sexual orientation, don't always click on the social level. Sometimes it takes time, and sometimes it just never happens.

It could be that she had other things to do and things to solve or do with her girlfriend. And the signs she's showing you, she may like you but she could just be flirty. And she has a girlfriend. So...
