Why is my dad so mean to me?
He never lets me do anything. I can't even fly his 27g airplane (RC) without him wanting to kill me! And when I ask f I could get a lizard today (I already have a TON of previous experience with them), he treated me like a piece of crap. WHAT DO I DO??

Did you ask for permission to fly his plane? What experience do you have with lizards?

Anyone old enough to fly a RC plane without destroying it is old enough to get a job and buy his own.

What do you do around the house, at school, and in life, to deserve all these privileges?

I haven't asked to fly it in a while because I know he won't let me.

If you know he won't let you, why do you keep asking?

I haven't asked in a long time. Where did you get that I keep asking?

So he doesn't want you to play with it, but you did anyway?

You said that you ask and he never lets you play with it. You also asked for a lizard and he said no.
How is he mean to you if you've only asked once and he said no. In fact, how is he mean to you by saying no at all?
You have to learn that just because you want something, doesn't mean that you should get it.
You need to grow up.

Case closed with this statement. That attitude and immaturity is why he's so "mean" to you.

Here's mean: pouring boiling water on you because your mother cheated on him. Locking you in a closet for 24 hours because you cried. Killing your pet because you swore at him. Giving you up to the foster care system because he gambled away all his income.
Does the word 'entitled' mean anything to you? Lizards and planes, go buy your own. I'll bet you have a heck of a lot more stuff than any kid did 50 years ago.
