So after first period class on Friday I was joking around with some friends and she comes up to me and she's like, "hey can I talk to you for a minute?" I was like sure and then she looked over at my friends, then my friends started to walk down the hall towards class and I said "what's up?" again and she said: "ummm are those guys close friends with you?" and I was like sure and then she said "okay never mind, will you be at math today? I'll talk to you then." and then she said bye and I walked off too.

Now she's quite attractive, she's normal, and we're acquaintances going to the same college next year but not really friends. What the hell does she want? I'm a fun guy to hang around with and have a decent social status in school. I'm comfortable around most everyone (girls and boys) but I'm not really comfortable near girls in THAT way(not gay or anything) but I don't know - I'm not mature enough for that stuff yet. I avoided math class that day just so I wouldn't have to talk to her.

What do you think she wants and how do I avoid her? :X

Maybe she likes one of your friends. Maybe she likes you, seeing as you are such a fun guy to hang around with and have a decent social status in the school. Whatever makes you feel she is interested in you THAT way (as you put it)? I think you are more ready for that "stuff" than you think you are. Regardless, avoiding math class isn't going to help you find out! She may or may not be interested in you romantically. Maybe she just wants to be friends. You are going through a lot by over-reacting to a situation. It's probably best that you find out from her, and deal with it after that. Goodness, if she wants more than you do all you have to say is no! If you are afraid of hurting her feelings, just say, "I'm sorry, but I've decided that I don't want to get romantically involved with anyone right yet. Although, I must say... if you are going to college next year I surely can't imagine why you wouldn't date this year. Nobody said you had to have a serious relationship. Can't you just go out with someone attractve and normal just to enjoy each other's company?

I suspect you are experiencing feelings that are making you feel a little uncomfortable right now. You might want to consider talking to someone who knows you wll to see what they think.
