Well. For starters, I like to ask how old you are. The whole "is he the one for me" thing kind of sort of matters on the age. I'm not saying you have to be a certain age to find "the one", but it gives readers a perspective.

Second of all... of course, since the "chase" is no longer there, things are going to be lacking.

As far as the insecurity, it doesn't mean he doesn't love you... but it does mean that his insecurity will cause a problem in the relationship down the road. I'd say... try talking to him about it... but I know that it really doesn't help very often. The only thing that really works is counseling... or finding the root of his insecurity.

Maybe he is just asking you all of these questions to make conversation. He may not mean any harm in it. I'm sure he trusts you, but would you not ask your boyfriend questions if he went out with his friends?
Is he the right guy for you? I don't think we can tell you that. Do you love him? Can you picture yourself spending the rest of your life with him? Do you think you could live with him? These are questions you should ask yourself. If most of the answers are positive, then maybe he is. If you think he is annoying and is just driving you crazy, maybe he's not.
When we're young a lot of times we end up in relationships that last a long time. You're 19 and you've been in this relationship for 4 years. You've done a lot of growing up in the past few years, and you may have outgrown him. Think things through. You're either growing closer or farther apart.
    Hope this helped! =)
