What can I do to stop partying?
Im 18 years old and my problem is that I already have been in a horrible accident and speeding tickets because I go out too much. Ive tried to stay in but when I get phone calls or texts from people inviting me to go out I start getting ready. I want 2 stop going out because I have a job and I go to school and I don't want everything to go in the drain because of the fun nights I have now when I know I can have fun later in life. But I don't know how. Ive tried everything I can think of but I still go out. I haven't learned my lesson and I want to stop now before something major occurs.

Turn off your phone at night that might help.

You need to say NO. That would work.

Your parents should put a stop to it, since you don't know how.

    Thissss suckssss
    Im confused...
Im young, smart, pretty, hardworking, respectful & fun girl.
For some reason I can't get a serious guy to talk to me.
Most of the guys that talk to me start getting in the conversation of having sex! =/
now I don't like talking about sex with guys because I'm a virgin and I'm not ready for that. Now I've been noticing that the girls I go out with have a really bad reputation so the guys might think that I'm like the rest of the girls. It sucks so bad because I don't give the guys no reason to think bad of me. Some guys get to know me better and they ask me why I hang around with these type of girls if I'm not like them. But these girls are so much fun to be around with besides of there reputation. Now, I don't know what to do to talk to a serious guy..

What can I do to get a serious guy to talk to me and not just talk to me to try to have sex?? I want to be taken serious and not treated like the others because were all unique I our own ways... need advice please...

Just say no! If you want to start doing things differently, you'll have to tell your friends... NO

Kitkat22: I don't think it would do very much if she just said no they would probably go to her house and talk her into it. She has to explain why and everything.

That's where the parent's need to step in. The friends don't need an explanation. It's somebody else's life their screwing up and the OP is helping them do it.

    Hello BB,

I can relate to you. When I was between the ages of 16 and 19, my friends wanted to party. I felt a little pressured because I very much wanted to hang out with my friends, but at the same time I felt as if we were always doing something that would make me feel uncomfortable.

So, what I tried to do, was to be the one who initiated fun, safe things to do. For example, we would go to our local café (thats was a hang out place for all the young kids) and hang out there. We would go roller skating, we would go to the movies, we would go out to dinner, we woud go play laser tag, and I was the slumber party queen. Lol Pizza, doing hair, nails, watching scary movies in the basement. So on and so forth.

I think you should set some limits for yourself and simply do things that are fun and safe with you friends.

Is that something you and your friends could do?

They are her friends she can't just shut them off like that. She could just say no and explain and if they still do it, Then she can ask her parents to help her out.
