Well my mom and step dad are together, they have been for about 4 years. Lastly when he goes to work she has been playing this online game. She talks to people and has virtual sex (its just wrong) and I hate this. She met a guy on there and mom got another phone (so she has 2) she calls and texts him on there every day! And they call each other babe and I get so upset. She even uses our money to buy things on the game! Step dad found out once but she told him she would stop. Well she hasn't! If he leaves then we won't have anything and we would lose the house the car and just its horrible. Now she also masturbates to his phone calls (so does he) and I hate her so much right now. Am I wrong for feeling this way ? What should I do?

How do you know all the pertinent details of what is going on with your mom?

No body actually likes a snoop my dear and it appears that you have been snooping into some one else's personal matters. How do you know that anyone is masturbating, especially the other person?

I would have to say stay out of your mom's personal issues. and money matters. You can only be guessing at most of this.

You do nothing about this.

She uses 'our' money? If you pay 1/3 all house expenses, then you have a valid complaint. Do you?

I think that you should stop snooping.

But, I think you should also have a talk to your mother and let her know what you know.

Because you know, or think you know, that she's up to meeting strangers online and sexting them, and whatever else(!), it is affecting you, and you should speak up- not yell or make accusations- but speak up and tell her this is making you, at the very least, uncomfortable, and afraid.

Maybe talking to her will make you feel less helpless, and less afraid. Maybe your mother will stop and think about what she's doing, and how it is affecting you, and how it would affect her relationship with your step-dad.

There is little you can do to change any adults' behavior, including your mother's, but if I were you, I'd feel threatened by it, at least as far as what the consequences could be in the long run.
