He's still waiting I moved on
    I need some help :(
So I had boyfriend but my parents don't allow me to have one.

I kept them in the dark for about 1 and a half years before I finally told them, hoping they will allow me to continue dating. However, they forbid me to talk to him and see him ever again.

I told him and he said he would wait for me for ten years. I doubted him since ten years is a very long time and he said he would prove it to me.

I really loved him so I just agreed and said I would wait too. Because I obviously can't date anyone else.

It's been about three months since we officially broke up and haven't talked. I feel so free and happy when I have no strings attached. I feel so open to the world since I have nothing to hide anymore. My relationship with my parents have been stronger than ever and I don't want to lose it.

He texted me that he was still waiting and I don't know what to do about the message? Should I reply or ignore?

    1. Should I reply that I sort of moved of and let him get heart broken? I don't want to make him sad and I honestly haven't moved on fully. I feel so bad since I promised that I wouldn't ever forget him but I feel so much better when I'm single. My relationships with my peers and family grew better and I don't need a guy in my life to distract me.

    2. Should I ignore? If I ignore the message, he would sort of guess that I moved on. And I don't know if I can hurt him like that since he treated me well.

    3. Should I just reply something simple and keep him waiting? Like an "oh :)" or something? Idk :( I don't want to lead him on. But I also don't want to break his heart.

Please help me! I really need you guys to answer me soon because I really need your help :<

    I'm still young, I'm 14 and I made a lot of mistakes. I need someone older's opinion.

He knows the situation and that you aren't allowed to talk with him or be with him. I would go No Contact. You don't owe him anything.

IF you tell him anything simply say you are taking one day at a time and you have no idea what the future holds for you. Right now you are obeying your parents wishes. That you would like him to live his life
