I am 17 and really I know I passed the level which was about sex or liking it or cheating or some stuff like them. At this time I talked to lots of people and what they told me was are you really 17? Your mind is more than 25 years people or more!!

And what is really appears to me is taking responsibility like spending more time with my family, be myself and be true with myself. In addition what is making me think is why am I like speaking with older people like people at age more than 25 years? When I talk to people who are in same age, I think they don't understand what am I saying at all.

The last thing is NOW I feel like I really need somebody in my life!
Anybody can tell me how this maturity is? How much left ? Or any idea about my sentences.

Maturity my friend is an ever growing process that helps you understand your world so you can deal with events rationally and wisely. Hopefully it will go on forever because life is about learning and growing and coping.

While some mature faster and more than others, we never get to a point we know every thing, or how to cope with it properly. We are human, we make mistakes all the time and forever, and have to learn and cope with that all our lives.

Maturity is the ability to make good decisions about your thoughts and actions for yourself, and how you cope with yourself and your world.

Agree with tal, maturity may come earlier than one think and may hardly seen in some people. You need somebody in life is kind of sexual and emotional awareness, all of us feel that at some point of time. How you handle that relationship when that somebody enters your life, will decide your maturity. You are 17 and growing, coming years experiences will teach you lot.

At 17, you probably don't know where you will be in 2 years, 4 years, 6 years... what are your plans? Most relationships between teens end not just because of the level of maturity but also because you are rapidly changing places, ideas, wishes, opinions... I know I did.

I consider myself mature at my age of 66, but it doesn't mean that I don't have my problems with relationships.
