Me and my boyfriend been going out for 4 -5 months he is a great guy he has told me he is falling for me but I don't feel the same way I feel we'll be better off as friends I want to tell him but I'm afraid I would break his heart what should I do ?

Don't wait! If you feel this way and don't tell him, you'll be leading him on and it will just hurt him more the longer you wait. If you feel this way, remember that it's not your fault! Those are simply your feelings and you can't help the way you feel. Explain your feelings to him and maybe mention that you just aren't ready for a relationship right now, or that you view each other as better friends than bf/gf ;) hope that helps some!

Just tell him. You're hurting him more by continuing a relationship that has no chance of going anywhere.

Yes he'll be hurt, but he'll get over it. Wait too long and it will hurt more than it has to.

If you're mature enough to date then you have to be mature enough to break up when the time comes.

I completely agree with Maddykat.
When you are not ready, don't have to think much. You are in the right path. Just be a friend, a good friend and the passing of time will let you both know what name you can give to that friendship. So help him to understand what you feel and be a good friend. All the best & God bless you.
