I have a boyfriend right now, we have been dating for less than a month, he is also my best friend. My ex and I broke up 3 months ago, and he decided to look for me and he's asking for me back. I'm confused about this because I do love my ex, he was my eveything we dated for more than 2years and I was deaply in love with him, until he disapointed me and we had to break up. I feel that I'm only with my besfriend because he was the closest person to me and I wanted to feel loved! So I went for my best friend. The thing is that now my best friend is in love with me and I don't have the same feelings for him, I'm still in love with my ex and want to be with him, but my ex said that he will not take me back unless I stop talking and everything with my boyfriend (bestfriend) but honestly I don't think I can do that. Because through my worst of times my best friend was there it would'nt be fare to him. I'm so confused and I know my ex loves me a lot but so does my best friend. I'm not sure what to do. I need help asap?

I know your "bestfriend" loves you a lot but if you only went out with him because of no longer being with your boyfriend, then you kind of just used your "bestfriend" for your own selfish needs.

Firstly, if you know you don't have feelings for your "bestfriend" like you do for your ex then you should let your "bestfriend" know that. I'm sure the longer you lead him on, the more it's going to hurt him in the end. Trust me. I've been there before.

As for your ex, he shouldn't be telling you to no longer have contact with you "bestfriend". If he really loves you like you say, he'll know that you and your "bestfriend" are just that: best friends. He should be understanding of that and not try to end you all's friendship.

Whether you should take your boyfriend back or not is your decision based upon whether you accept the advice that I have given you or not.

This is a crazy situation you got yourself here. Anyway, your ex might love you, but nobody should tell you to get rid of your best friend. Friends are there for life, boyfriends might not always be. If he disappointed you once, what makes you think he won't do it again? I don't know what he did, but if it was bad, consider the fact that he might do it again. If you no longer love your "best friend" then you need to tell him, its not fair to him for you to lead him on. Also, you just used your best friend to fill that void in your heart. That wasn't cool. My advice is to talk to your best friend about your feelings. Try to explain it to him. As well for your ex, tell him you want to be friends with your best friend weather he likes it or not!
