I like this girl, but she is labeled as a slut at school. I want to ask her out, but not take the crap from everyone at school. What do I do?

Do you like this girl? If you truly feel you like her then who gives a s**t what other people say it is none of their business. Don't let people influence your decision when it comes to a girl. And if they give you crap ask them why they care so much, because the only people who would give you crap about something like that are the people who are jealous because they like the same girl

If you like her, just ask her out.

Ignore what your friends are saying.

However I will add this, treat this girl with respect! Do not ask her out if you do not have good intentions.

The label this girl has may not be true, just because someone else says its so,does not mean it's the truth.

Well, I'll also add: Why is she "labeled" as a slut?

Maybe there is a reason. Reading YOUR OTHER POST, if you are trying to be disassociated from these types of people who hurt your image and give you bad rep, she just may do the same thing.

You may have to find another girl for yourself.

Then she obviously isn't a slut. I'm in high school so I know what its like I deal with the same type of problems in my life too. If you like a girl, then you like her and don't let anyone change that. It doesn't matter what other people think, do what makes you happy. And anyone who will give you crap obviously isn't a good friend and your true friends wouldn't say anything. They will probably be like way to go she's a babe. Those are your real friends. Follow your heart

Unless she's doing things that a "slut" would do, then maybe she just has bad luck with boys. Lots of boyfriends doesn't make someone a slut.

If I had to guess, I'd probably say that it's the people who give you bad rep are giving her bad rep, too.

Heck, maybe if you get away from those other guys and with this girl, maybe both of you can get your reputation back.

If you are so worried about what others say about you, then you will never do a darn thing for yourself. That's so wussy. Yes I have read your other post, but let me just say, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

Sounds like you're giving up before you even start. Her being labelled a slut isn't even a huge obstacle. If you can't even get over that part and ask her out, then you can pretty much give up now.

Have some confidence in yourself and some confidence in her that this type of labelling won't affect either of you.

I have known that label to be put on people who did not deserve it at all.
Jealousy and spite are two of the common reasons.

    Ask her out.
There will always be people who will judge and condemn, they deserve nothing but to be ignored.

With maturity comes the understanding that it makes no difference what other people think,if you are on the side of right, the truth shall set you free.

A label like that in HS doesn't have to mean anything at all. And having had plenty of boyfriend doesn't imply that she has acted slutty in anyway.

If you don't have the guts to go against the grain, then you better just let it be and leave it the way it is.

If you care so much about what people say, then you won't be able to stand it when the heat is on (if it gets turned on)

Labels in HS is not uncommon for a reason, some people likes to put others into little neat boxes because it feels all nice and secure. And for a girl to get labeled as a slut, trust me it doesn't take that much. Gosh when I was in my last year of HS I was labeled as a slut by some 'friends' of mine (not friends at all) and I was still a virgin...

If you like her than you give her a chance and don't let anyone give you crap. In high school it is all about gossip and rumors which are usually started by teenagers that love to create drama or have nothing better to do. More than likely they get a jolly from putting other people down. However, if you were to look inside their closet you would see all their crap.
