I started going out with lets call her Wendy for about 5 months now and we really love each other. There's just one problem, I started liking her best friend Sally. I don't know why but I started flirting with Sally behind Wendy's back, then I flirted with her right in front Wendy. Now Wendy won't talk to me and keeps asking me why and how I could do that to her. She told me that I should just dump her for Sally because she's really hurt. I don't want to break up with Wendy, I love her its just that I'm liking her friend better. What should I do? What's wrong with me? And no I'm not a douchebag!

Well, did do an awful thing to your girlfriend. Now, you are paying the consequences.

What is wrong with you?
Nothing, you just made a bad decision. It was really wrong of you to flirt with 'Wendy's' best friend. It would be wrong to do so with any girl for that matter.

What should you do?
Apologize. Realize your mistakes and take responsibility for them. Let her know you will NEVER do anything like that ever again, and mean it. If she doesn't forgive you, then break up with her, and leave her (and her friend) alone.

Are you a douchebag?
No. You just made a mistake. Learn from it, and move on. Really accept this as a learning expirience to never do this again!
