Hey OK so I'm pretty new to this whole liking someone business.
I'm 16 years old and this is the first boy I've ever really felt like "wow, i think i have a crush on him" type thing. Sure, other guys have asked me to be there girlfriend and yada yada, but I never really felt that way about anyone before! So let me tell you about this boy.
He used to live up the street from me about two years ago now. We grew up together and always loved hanging out with each other! But then, it came to the time when he had to move away to New Jersey. I guess this feeling I have for him didn't start until after he moved, but you know it was really hard seeing him leave. But, because our two families are so close, he does come back with his family to visit about 4times a year. But it wasn't until his last visit (about 3 weeks ago) that we established we liked each other and we have for a while... about a year, but its just too hard with the distance, (south carolina; New Jersey.) anyway, I had been imagining me kissing him for a while and telling him I liked him but during his last visit here, he beat me to it. The second day he was visiting, he started making out with me. I couldn't believe it... I was amazed and stunned and all happy and everything! It felt amazing- my first real kiss :D well this continued for two nights- us snuggling and kissing :) it was the best I've felt in a long time! But on the 5th day he pulled me aside and told me he didn't think we should hook up anymore because he didn't want to get too attatched. I was crushed... and little did I know he was as well! The rest of the week went as normal but without us snuggling and stuff. The night we left, we had a heart to heart and we told each other that we do like each other very much, but we should just stay friends for now because of the distance. So I'm not sure anymore, but all I know is I like him, and this is the first time I've ever felt this before- it just sucks that he's so far away from me. However, he is coming again in September for a weekend... so what I'm really wondering is will he kiss me again? Or does he just want it all to stop?

You may be able to make something work, call each other talk on the computer but only time will tell what both of you want. Good luck :)

I won't give you a reddie, but I disagree. Long distance relationships are hard enough for adults let alone a teenager. I would remain friends and just enjoy the time you have together as just that. Don't get too attached(if possible) to him because you do know he is leaving, enjoy being 16! It's a great time in your life

You will always remember your first kiss, and your caught up in the thrill of it. That doesn't mean you and him, will last forever. The emotional dust will settle eventually though, and you can decide to keep in touch, or go about your business, and someone more local may catch your attention.

Cheer up, its natural to be attracted to others, and be confused, but you'll learn, so don't get carried away until things are less confusing.
