My name is Kimberly I'm 15 and I'm falling in love with my friend... ive liked him ever since a little while after him and my best friend started going out (they don't go out ne more)... hes sweet caring protective funny out going easy to talk to athletic and he's a good christian guy... I like him a lot and as more than just friends... but I don't know if I should tell him or not because I don't know what he will say or if it will ruin our friendship because I definitely don't want that

Does your best friend know? She might be really hurt if you try to go out with her ex boyfriend.

Really if you two are still friends and you care about what she thinks, tell her first and make sure she's okay with it.

Yea I know what you mean I don't think she would care under the cercomstances as of how they broke up and there really not friends anymore and they really don't talk either... but do you think I should tell the guy that I like him?

No, I don't think you should tell him, until you know for sure your friend is okay with it.
You don't "think" she would care? Did they have a bad breakup, is she upset over it? Is she angry with him still?
There are a lot of things to consider. I remember when I was your age my best friend dated my recent ex boyfriend and it was hell for me. She thought I didn't care just because we weren't together anymore and weren't talking. We ended up not being friends anymore.

I'm saying that there's a good chance you're going to lose your friend if you end up trying to get with this guy. So I guess what's more important to you? This guy or your friend?
I hear all the time it's not a good idea to date a friend's ex boyfriend. Not just from my experience either.
If your friend is more important then talk to her first. If the guy is then you know the answer.

No I pretty much know she wouldn't care she is happy with her new boyfriend and me and her are really close so I think she would want me to be happy... but I don't have a problem talking to her about it first though... but I'm saying if she says she's cool with it them should I tell him?
