    How to stop popping your fingers
    I have a bad habit of popping my fingers... I do it everyday.. more than I can count. I really want to stop so I can avoid problems when I grow up. But its just so natural I sometimes don't notice. Plus its very addictive, like a drug that I can't stop. How can I stop?

    It sounds like when people bite their nails. They can't help it because they don't even think about it until they are doing it!

    I would just try to be very conscious of the times that you start to pop them, then immediately stop. Eventually you will be aware of yourself doing this and can stop sooner.

    Otherwise you could ask people you are around often to tell you when they notice you start doing it, so that even if you don't notice it they will.

    It sounds like you are well aware of yourself doing it. The key is noticing it quicker. You find yourself cracking one finger and then two stop after that. Eventually you'll get the hang of it and maybe not be able to stop yourself entirely but you will be enough aware of it that you'll be able to keep yourself from doing it.
