I am 19 years old and my girlfriend is 17. We have been seeing each other for about five months now and I feel as though I would like to start having sex with her but I don't know if she wants to. I am not in our relationship just for sex, I love the girl and I am not in any real rush, its just maybe I would like to take our relationship further to the next level. If she does not want to start having sex then fine because I don't mind its just maybe I want to have sex more than her. I just want to have that connection with her and I want to have a special relationship with her.

I would say that maybe the two of you should sit down and talk about it. Find out her view on the situation. Just be careful not to jump in too soon. Some girls around that age likes to be sure that their relationship is secure before moving to the next level. Sounds to me like your feelings for her are strong so you may want to make sure that your first time with her is special.

17 is a weird age. I am 16 and I know all that stuff takes a while. You're 19, that's not a large difference, but those two years could be a big differnece in the expirience you've had.

But you have to talk to her about it. Do you know of her sexual history?

All guys feel that way, and want to get to the next level, but you just have to wait, for when she is ready. If she ever is. Are you ready for the consequences though, like babies?

I had to go back, and read your other posts for a clearer picture, and since this is your first time, and your inexperienced, I think your thinking too much and are not so sure of yourself ,and come of as needy sometimes, but she has a part to play also, as she is doing what a 17 year old does, have her fun with her high school friends, and you must understand. Maybe that's why she lied about her whereabouts, as she doesn't want to discuss what she does, or argue about it. I don't know, but you had better slow down, and have fun, and learn how to express yourself to her, or this won't work very well. You just can't rush with a female young or not. 5 months is hardly love, but you'll learn that also.
