My girl wants to break up and I don't want to
I know there have been questions like these before but I'm really hurt right now so I'm just going to ask for some advice. I'm 16 years old and my ex is 18. At least I think she's my ex I'm not sure. The reason I say this is because she says sh'es breaking up with me but she said its not official till next week and tells me if she feels any better, she'll get back with me. I love this girl very much. And I'm not ashamed to say it. I've always been there for her even for the small things. One day, it was our anniversary, and we had this huge day planned but she had to go live with her dad which is like 12 miles away from my house (her parents are divorced). Believe it or not, I walked 12 miles for her, and yeah, I might be whipped, but my intentions were to make our anniversary special. I truly love her. The thing is, I told her I still luved her when she broke up with me and she also said, "believe it or not, i luv u too". Guys I'm hurting bad. She's my first love. And I want it to work out. I still think there is potential for us to be together again. I just need some help from experienced guys to get her back. If this help you guys, the reason she wants to break up is that she says I want too much from her, I make her do too many things. And this is true, I realize that, and I'm willing to do something about it. Not change myself but we can compromise. I read in other forums and proffesionals, that accepting the problem is the first step. But now I need to convince her I'll try to work on it, but she says that was my last chance. Please guys help me, I know I can get her back, I do think she still loves me. And I know moving on might be a good option right now, but I still want that slight chance to get back with her, so help. Thanks a lot guys.

No offence but you sound like a complete doormat. "Shell leave it a week and then see if she wants to get back with you?" Common man, take a hike and leave her wallowing! She has all the power here, its about time you took it back. Your 16, there's going to be plenty more loves in your life. I didn't have my first serious relationship till I was 20.

Walkaway, it will be hard but you can't win anyone back and at your ages.. I am not sure any mature communication is going to take place. I may be wrong?

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but put this one down to experience.

Jiser is right, plus you are dealing the most difficult animal, the 16-25 age group. What they want changes by the hour.

Best bet, lay off and start hanging around other girls to throw it in her face. At that age they want what they can't have and you are giving her the world.

Oh, sweetie! She is playing with you. Keeping your around until someone else comes along. Move on. I know you said you love her but start checking out some girls your own age and life will get brighter.

First love is always the hard one too let go of, but you need someone that loves you the same way as you love them and respects you for you ! It sounds like this girls just wants you around in her life as a play thing... Don't get walked all over, you do the walking and keep your head up high..

I can still recall my very first love, but now I'm happy and not with that person !

You can not make someone want something that they really don't want.
